I have many happy memories of my childhood living next door to Gladys and her dear mum and dad ,with my mum ,dad and sister Sharon. Also having my feet measured by Gladys at Freeman Hardie and Willis.My dear mum and dad Jean and Robin Friend whom I have lost over the past 18 months  had Gladys as a neighbour  for over 50 years in Hunt Road and later in Tilebarn.So sorry I can't be at the funeral but I now live in Nottingham.Fond and cherished memories.
